Cramp Remedies

Cramp is very common and can occur in adults and children, without warning, causing extreme discomfort. Cramp usually occurs in the calf muscle but any of the large muscles can be affected with acute contractions that cause the pain and cramp.

Directions:
Massage is one of the best methods for relieving cramp, bringing blood and oxygen back to the muscle. Stroking movements towards the heart are best, using a diluted essential oil to help dilate the blood vessels, increasing blood flow. Juniper, Lavender, Rosemary or even Marjoram can be used to aid dilate the blood vessels whilst massaging.
