Mouth ulcers are usually caused by local trauma, biting the inside of the mouth or ill-fitting dentures. Though stress can also play a part, being run down can produce recurring ulcers in and around the mouth. Aromatherapy can play an effective roll in relieving this annoying ailment.
Directions:
Make an effective mouth wash by diluting 2 drops of Peppermint oil, 4 drops of Lemon oil, 2 drops of Geranium oil and 1 drop of Thyme oil in 1 dessertspoon of brandy. Add this mixture to a glass of warm water and swish well around the mouth. Be sure not to swallow the wash.
